Our Purpose

Development and Literacy Partners International exists to create literacy and development initiatives among minority ethnic groups of the world. Through the use of the mother-tongue and an acute awareness of cultural factors, DLPI partners with these minority groups to facilitate sustainable development.

Our objectives are:

1. Conduct scientific research among minority language groups of the world.
2. Provide instruments to these language groups to be able to read and write their mother tongue.
3. Help the people of the language group to produce and translate publications that will be able to help them in the development of their community.
4. Provide some humanitarian assistance for basic needs.
